Jahvid Best runs the ball against the Bucs during week 1 of the NFL season. Best carried the ball 21 times.

Jahvid Best carried the ball as the Lion’s main workhorse during week 1 of the NFL season. He has proven to be a quick learner and looks to still be the feature back even after the return of Maurice Morris.

Lorenzo Alexander has been impressed with the confidence displayed by the Redskins early in the year. He believes the week 1 win against the Giants was a game they would have lost last year. In addition to his role as a linebacker, Alexander has prided himself to be a force on special teams and was eager not to take Monday off even after victory.

Matt Giordano reacts to an inception on Kyle Orton during Monday Night Football

Matt Giordano had a huge interception on Kyle Orton during Monday Night Football. Giordano was recently brought back after initially getting cut by the Raiders. Silver and Black commented on Giordano’s active productivity in the game.

Desmond Bishop was criticized for missing a couple of key tackles and being inconsistent in pass coverage though one-on-one drill was something he worked hard on over summer. From a fantasy perspective, Bishop did well recording 12 tackles.

Nick Sundberg warms up long-snapping before a game


Nick Sundberg worked hard during the offseason and was brought back as the Redskin’s long snapper even though he played of inconsistency last year. Kicker Graham Gano is eager to share his potential success this year with his snapper and holder.

Alex Mack played an excellent game but was disappointed at the end of the day when the Browns couldn’t hold its lead against the Bengals in a mistake filled game which included Colt McCoy attempting to pass the ball to Mack on one play.

  1. That’s actually a picture of James dearth from last preseason, not nick Sundberg. If you look closely, it’s number 67 on the jersey, not 57. Come on guys
